Much like your encounter at the castle in chapter 1, this is an ongoing encounter so you’ll want to keep your health up as you go. You and your new ally are being attacked by many, many swordsmen and gunmen. When you reach the end of the path you’ll start a cutscene introducing a spicy new ally and a battle afterward. The path to Kiyomizu Temple is linear, so just follow it to the end, stopping to help The Amnesiac along the way. Whatever you decide, make your way to the pink marker in Rakunai and cross the bridge when you’re ready to proceed. By now the palanquin bearer is probably pretty tempting, and you can raise your friendship with him if you employ his services, so there are benefits to hiring him. Once again you’re tasked with heading up to Rakunai, this time to the bridge south of Shijo Bridge. When it’s over, you can head back to Teradaya for another cutscene. When you’re ready to proceed, head to Rakunai and follow the pink marker to the Shijo Bridge to find Oryo and a cutscene. Still, it’s up to you how you proceed, but don’t forget to stop by the General Goods shop if you’re low on healing supplies. Luckily you can use the palanquin to catch a ride up north, but making the trip on foot gives you chances to discover substories and earn experience in random street fights. This is the far north section of the map, so you’ve got quite the trek to make. Otose suggests searching by the Kamo River, specifically by the Shijo Bridge located in Rakunai. When you finally return to Teradaya, you’ll trigger a cutscene between Ryoma, Oryo and Otose.Īfter the cutscene you’ll be prompted to look for Oryo. If you ever need to return to the villa, speak to the boatman west of Teradaya. You can set up your farm as you see fit, but there’s not much else to do here yet, so return to Kyo when you’re ready. Afterwards, take a look around your new home, as the tutorial dictates you’ll learn more about each aspect of your new home activities. You’ll also receive some new equipment, so be sure to equip what suits you best. Additionally, you’ll be able to complete ‘ Another Life’ tasks in your Diligence Records here. This homestead allows you to grow crops, raise chickens, and cook meals. In any case, passing through the gate into Fushimi will prompt a cutscene which introduces your second home. You can head right back to Fushimi, but this is also a good chance to earn experience in random street fights, or explore to discover substories and other activities. Afterwards, you’re to head back to Teradaya, the inn located in Southeast Fushimi.
